Search results with extra visual detail, such as star ratings, prices, stock status, FAQs or event dates. Google may show them for pages with valid structured data, but does not guarantee it.
Example
With Product markup, Meera's kurta may appear with its price and 'In stock' under the title. Shoppers see the key facts before they click.
How you'll hear it
“Run the page through the Rich Results Test before launch; the markup has errors.”
Don't confuse it with
- Featured snippet: an extracted answer box at the top, which needs no markup. Rich results come from structured data.
