Cookie Policy
Which cookies we use, why we use them, and how you stay in control.
Effective date: 20 May 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit. They help the site remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you are signed in. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called "first-party" cookies; cookies set by other services are "third-party" cookies.
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies aFactor ("we", "our", or "us") uses on afactor.ai and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies we currently use
We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal. The site currently uses only essential cookies:
- Session cookie (essential). Set when you sign in to the Role-Fit Diagnostic. It keeps you signed in as you move through the assessment and expires when your session ends. The platform cannot function without it.
Essential cookies do not require consent because the service you have asked for cannot be delivered without them.
3. Analytics cookies (when enabled)
We may enable Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and where traffic comes from. When GA4 is enabled:
- IP addresses are anonymized, so analytics data is not tied to your full IP address.
- Data is used only in aggregate to improve the site and our programmes.
- We do not use analytics data to build individual advertising profiles.
4. What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party marketing cookies, social media trackers, or cross-site retargeting pixels on this site. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
5. How to clear or block cookies
You can control cookies directly in your browser. Every major browser lets you view, delete, and block cookies:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Delete browsing data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.
Note that blocking all cookies will prevent the session cookie from being set, so you will not be able to stay signed in to the Role-Fit Diagnostic.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes or as legal requirements evolve. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
