1. What this page covers

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 does not use the word cookie at all. What it regulates is personal data, and an identifier that singles out your browser counts. So this page is about identifiers and what we do with them, whether they are stored as a cookie or any other way.

The site is operated by aFactor Education Pvt Ltd. Read this page together with our Privacy Policy.

2. What runs before you choose

Nothing that identifies you. No analytics, page testing or advertising tag loads until you make a choice in the data choices panel. Until then only the following run, because the site cannot work without them:

• ✓ Session cookie. Set when you sign in to the Role-Fit Diagnostic. It keeps you signed in and expires when your session ends.
• ✓ Consent record. A cookie and a browser storage entry that record which choice you made and when, so we do not ask again and so we can show that you chose.
• ✓ Form security. Checks that stop automated spam on our forms.

These are part of delivering the service you asked for, so they do not need your consent.

3. What runs only if you allow it

Analytics

Google Analytics 4. Collects a device identifier, the pages you view, your IP address and an approximate location. We use it in aggregate to see which pages work.

Page testing

Zoho PageSense. Collects a device identifier, your clicks, how far you scroll and which version of a page you were shown. We use it to test layouts and make pages easier to use.

Advertising

Google Ads. Collects an advertising identifier, the pages you view and enquiries you submit. We use it to measure our campaigns and to show you aFactor program ads on other sites.

Each of these is a separate choice. Allowing analytics does not allow advertising.

4. How to change your mind

Click Privacy settings at the bottom left of any page. You can turn any purpose off, or refuse everything, in one click. Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting, and turning something off later is exactly as easy as turning it on.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, sign-in will not work.

We use Google Consent Mode v2. Until you allow a purpose, the matching Google tags are held in a denied state and do not set an identifier for you.

5. Changes

If we add a service that collects an identifier, it will appear on this page and in the data choices panel, and we will ask you again before it runs.
