The website link (or links) you add to your profile. On Instagram it is the main place to send people to a site, because links in normal post captions are not clickable.

Example

Meera's Instagram bio has a link to her WhatsApp catalogue, and her captions end with 'Shop via link in bio'.

How you'll hear it

“Change the link in bio to the sale page before the post goes live.”

Don't confuse it with

  • Link sticker: a clickable link added to a single Story.
