The content of an ad that people actually see or hear: the image or video, the headline, the text and the call to action. Targeting decides who sees an ad; the creative decides whether they care.
Example
Meera runs the same audience and budget with two ad creatives: a model shot in a studio, and a real customer trying on a kurta in the store. Only the creative differs.
How you'll hear it
“The targeting is fine; the creative is tired.”
Don't confuse it with
- Creative fatigue: the drop in results when people have seen a creative too often (a performance term).
- Content: content is published for the audience; an ad creative is paid to reach them.
