A link from one page on your site to another page on the same site. Internal links help visitors move around and help Google find pages and understand which ones matter.
Example
From her linen care guide, Meera links to the 'Linen kurtas' category page with the words 'shop our linen kurtas'. Google can now reach that page from the guide.
How you'll hear it
“This new page has no internal links pointing to it; Google may not even find it.”
Don't confuse it with
- Backlink: a link from another website to yours. Internal links stay within your own site.
