Example
Meera's email list has 8,000 subscribers: people who signed up at the billing counter, on her website, or through an Instagram form.
How you'll hear it
“Our email list is 8,000, but only about half have opened anything this year.”
Don't confuse it with
- Contact database / CRM: may include people who never agreed to marketing email.
- Bought list: addresses acquired from someone else, without the person's consent to hear from you.
